Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the Crickcounter app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by OTG Solutions (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service.
By downloading or utilizing the Application, you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application. All rights related to the Application, including content, design, and branding, remain with the Service Provider. Unauthorized use, modification, or distribution is not allowed.
User Accounts
The Application collects your name, email, and password solely for account creation and authentication through Firebase Authentication. Your credentials are securely processed by Firebase (a service provided by Google) and are not shared with any other third parties. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
When registering, you may be required to provide a name, email address, and password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during account creation.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Be solely responsible for all activities under your account.
Email Usage: By creating an account, you agree that your email address may be used for important service updates and for marketing or promotional communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.
Use of the Application
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. They reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for its services at any time with clear communication.
Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions:
- Google Play Services
- Firebase Authentication
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Remote Config
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Push Notifications)
Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone and access to the Application. Jailbreaking or rooting your device is strongly discouraged as it may compromise security and cause the Application to malfunction. The Service Provider is not responsible for issues arising from such modifications.
Connectivity & Charges
The Application may require an active internet connection for certain features, while some features can be used offline. The Service Provider is not responsible for limitations due to lack of Wi-Fi or mobile data, nor for charges incurred from your mobile provider, including roaming charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, it is assumed you have obtained permission from the bill payer.
Liability
The Service Provider makes efforts to keep the Application updated and accurate, but relies on third parties for certain information. Therefore, the Service Provider accepts no liability for loss, direct or indirect, resulting from reliance on the Application.
Updates and Termination
The Application may require updates to remain functional. You agree to accept such updates when offered. The Service Provider may also cease providing the Application at any time without notice. Upon termination, your rights to use the Application will end, and you must delete it from your device.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account directly from within the Application. Once deleted, all authentication data associated with your account (name, email, and password) will be permanently removed from Firebase Authentication. This action cannot be undone.
Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. You are advised to review this page regularly. Continued use of the Application indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
